The shipwreck museum is a great place to visit when it’s either very cold or very hot. Entry is free and there are wheelchair accessible toilets. Be aware, no food or drink is allowed in the museum. A donation is encouraged, but not required.
The WA Shipwrecks Museum is internationally recognised for its contributions to maritime archaeology and shipwreck conservation. There are multiple sections to explore. One sections houses over 100 ship models from aircraft carriers to submarines, all built by one enthusiastic model builder.
Journey through its galleries to learn about Western Australia’s treacherous coast, first European encounters, the riches of maritime trade and one of the deadliest mutinies in known history.
