Point Walter Reserve

Point Walter Reserve is a great place for different activities. It has plenty of ACROD and general free parking, good toilet facilities and a restaurant with limited opening hours, depending on the season. There are several tables and benches, most in the shade under trees or under a sun shade. Have a short or a long walkway along the water front walk way.

This area could also be used for individuals that don’t like noise or crowds, especially outside school holidays and weekends. On good days there are plenty of families having picknicks, swim in the river, kayak or do other water sports. There is a boat ramp as well, which would add some busy activity, especially during the warmer months.

From the pin marked on the map, access is possible to both sides of the reserve. The boat ramp side has a lot more parking and several ACROD bays in different locations.
