Walking
The walk along Blackwall Reach offers great views of the river. It’s an easy walk of about 1.3 km to Point Walter, where you find a restaurant, toilets, BBQs and tables. There is usually plenty of parking at the Bicton end (map location). The walk is on a sealed path, but you have the option to take a shortcut at one point, which gives you a better view of the river. There are several lookouts along the way, from where you have great views of the river. The whole way is sealed, so it is possible to use a wheelchair, but there are a few slopes up and down along the way. It is also used by people on pushbikes.
